About the Sheepadoodle Breed
Sheepadoodles are a designer breed that’s mixed with poodle and old English sheepdog. They can range between 50-90 lbs. and 24-27 inches tall and are considered a moderately-active breed, which means they still need routine exercise but aren’t high-activity. Their lifespan ranges between 12 and 15 years.
They have a unique, fluffy coat that doesn’t shed much and is low allergy. In fact, if regularly brushed, their coats remain fluffy and have a “teddy bear” aesthetic, which makes them even more adorable than they already are. Their hair can also be wavy or curly.
These dogs are a relatively healthy breed with very few health issues, and they love children and other pets. Sheepadoodles are also intelligent and easy to train. Sheepadoodles make excellent family pets, single-person household companions and have been used as emotional support dogs due to their ability to read human emotion.
While sheepadoodles aren’t known for excessive barking, they make for great watchdogs and will alert you if something is wrong, and of course the occasional bark during playtime. These dogs are happy and gentle-natured, which is why they make such a great choice for family pets.
